暨南大学基础医学与公共卫生学院老年免疫学研究所,聚集了一批高水平PI, 成立了免疫衰老研究团队、病毒免疫研究团队、细胞代谢研究团队、肿瘤发病机制及防治研究团队、生物大数据研究团队和DNA修复与神经退行性疾病研究团队等多个研究团队, 以抗衰老为主要研究目标,以机体的免疫系统为主要研究对象,从免疫应答、细胞代谢、能量代谢、线粒体功能、蛋白质相互作用等不同角度深入阐述衰老的分子机制,对衰老和老年相关的肿瘤、神经退行性疾病等常见疾病开展了临床转化研究,旨在从免疫学方向为老年医学做出贡献。目前,研究所已与美国NIH老年医学研究所、 美国约翰霍普金斯大学、美国科罗拉多大学、澳大利亚联邦科工委和挪威奥斯陆大学等国际高水平的研究机构建立了良好的科研合作关系。

The Institute of Basic Gerontology of Jinan University has a high-level medical school. It consists of the Alzheimer's Research Group, the Cell Metabolism Research Group, the Histology and Prevention Research Group, and the Biological Big Data Research Group. The main functional cell research team is mainly based on the research objects.
